ePUB shop peters.de ë Babička Kindle Ç babička pdf, Babička EpubThis is a delightful book by a late 19th century Bohemian Czech writer who focused on the lower classes in her country Grandmother leaves her beloved village to live with her daughter and her children because their father works for the Princess and spends half the year in Vienna Grandmother is one of those delightful characters in this type of fiction who knows everything and can always be counted on to keep a secret and give good advice She also models how religious many of the peasants were in that time It's hard to put into words the charm of this book because the story seems too simple But it's an excellent look at Bohemian life in the 19th century as changes such as intermarriage with Germans Croats etc was becoming common and Bohemia was becoming concerned with the lower classes The prose is smooth and soothing very fitting
